I love this picture. I love the colors, the detail and the uniqueness of the flower. Only it’s not a flower. It’s a weed. The kind that grows in your lawn and you pull up in frustration. The kind you put weed killer down for. But when you really look closely, it’s beautiful.
Reminds me to look more closely at the things and the people around me. To not just glance at something or someone, make a judgement and keep moving. To not necessarily believe the classifications created by someone else. To allow for the possibility that even a weed can be beautiful.
